Hair Loss
Hair Loss, causes, prevention and treatment. Hair, like they say is your glory and every woman's beauty. But what happens if what is meant to be your glory and beauty now is the very thing bringing out your ugliness. How can a guy or lady prevent baldness? Or should I say Hair loss? Is it genetic? Is it lifestyle? Well, we would find out from this piece. Many men and women approaching the middle age say 40years discover that they experience thinning of their hair mostly at d front. There are many reasons why this could be happening to you. Your diet may be a pointer, stress, medication, hair dressing technique or hair styles, adding hair glue to the hair, etc. The list is actually endless.
STEPS In preventing Hair loss.
1.Genetics- If you are experiencing hair loss as a result of genetics, there is little or nothing you can do
2. Stress- If you are stressed out, you may experience hair loss. So what do you do? Keep your stress level under control by resting more. Take adequate sleep. Sleep is a natural restorer of good health. Also exercise regularly to encourage good blood circulation which also affect the scalp.
3. Nutrition- If your nutrition is poor, it's just a matter of time that you would start experiencing hair loss. A healthy diet=healthy body÷ healthy hair. So let's eat right. We cannot over emphasise eating of fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of water.
4. Hair Care - To be sincere, if you are not caring for your hair, you are actually encouraging hair loss. Wash your hair frequently with protein and vitamin enriched shampoo and conditioner. It is better to get your own products than using the one from the salon. You are the one who knows what is best for your hair. Avoid over styling of the hair. Hot combs, hot tongs, hair dryers etc, all damage the hair. And more recently, hair glues and hair colours, chemical strengthener etc, have all contributed to damaging the hair. Avoid or minimise the use of all these hair killers. For hair drying, use natural drying instead. If you need to colour your hair, use semi-permanent instead of the permanent hair colour. Avoid making your hair tight in the front. Tight braiding of the hair, invisible parting etc all contribute to hair loss and can be avoided.
5. Supplements- If you lack the right vitamins and minerals in your body, you may experience hair loss. Take food supplements like vitamin C, Omega 3 acids etc. Some of the causes, prevention and treatments of hair loss in women and baldness in men have been outlined above. What applies to ladies also applies to guys only that they are not frequent at the salon like the ladies. So ladies and guys, let's do all in our means to reduce Hair loss!
